Project Supply Group was contracted to manufacture, supply and install a multistage cabinetry solution for an office at a remote mining location in Queensland.

The project included consultation with the client’s design team on functional aspects of the installation to improve the final outcome.

Project Supply Group applied its experience in delivering the manufacture and installation of commercial cabinetry from architect drawings, coupled with a consultative approach to provide different solutions, pricing and options.

Some of these solutions included specially vented doors for under bench hot water systems, various opening solutions for doors and draws and other hardware options, all matching very stringent architect specified materials and colour selections.

The client chose Project Supply Group over other providers as the company could supply a complete solution including cabinetry, hardware, stone bench tops and reception desk panels, glass splashbacks and so on, all delivered across multiple installation stages. In contrast, competitor companies would have had to manufacture and assemble all components prior to leaving Brisbane, potentially damaging fragile and expensive items during relocation and creating potential problems for the final delivery of the project.

Project Supply Group’s unique multistage process included manufacture and assembly of components at their premises, delivery and general installation at the client’s Brisbane manufacturing plant, wrapping of cabinetry components with heat and light reflective UV plastic for protection against sun and heat damage, potential movement and handling mishaps in transport and to ensure the cabinetry remained clean from dirt, debris and exposure to coal dust once on site.

This process was followed by timely onsite cabinetry fit off (working side by side with other trade providers), whilst also delivering ongoing problem solving and end user variations throughout the project, all within specification and budget.
